Drillers got a Crush on you

As you can see some minor progress has been made on the Driller, the bulk of the highlighting on the model and 90% of the base painting is done. you can see with the rivets and a bit of shading it looks much less gaudy and yellow.

Definitely looking forward to cranking out the final product tonight, then I can touch everything up and call the BBox done. Still having problems with the arc markings despite Ash's good suggestions, nothing seems to be clear enough while still being less loud than the model. I like the idea of hazard lights on the sides but how to simply paint hazard lights baffles me.

Until next time,

On my Privateer 'jacks I wanted to mark Port and Starboard, so I used one of the smaller armor flaps and painted the left side red (port), and the other side green (starboard). I attempted to use a little OSL, but came away with a glowing effect similar to what I end up doing for gems. Not a great job and I don't have pictures up yet, but glowing orange is pretty easy to do.

good luck!
