I went with a new technique for the paint chips on the driller, using the sponging method. Personally I think its come up a treat. You really can't tell the difference when looking at the Bgroup from tabletop height so I'm ok with it. I might go back and put a bit more rust on the driller as he does look a bit more pristime but not nearly as much as the rest of the Bgroup I think.
And heres the pics of the finished BBox:
Currently on the Table is Madhammer for a nice break from warjack plates. Hopefully then Thor or the Minions will have arrived and I can crank them out before I tackle the Hammerfall (which PP still needs to swing me some missing backpacks for.
Still not sold on the warning lights for Arc Markings, I have no problem painting Glows, its the fact I'd have to do a lot of painting to represent the light properly as a 2D light would look weird IMO. So I'd have to 3D paint it on every base twice... Thats a bit more work than I'm after.
Until next time,
Play Like You Have a Pair.

Awesome!
Looking good, personally I think that the chipping on the Driller is looking perfect and a bit better that on the Gunners. Dont add more rust, it's fine as it is.
Cheers

Nice work on the box set. Best of luck on your Arcs, hope you work out a solution .
Thanks for all the positive and constructive comments guys.
I'm thinking the driller needs a teeny bit more rust to tie him in with the BBox but not nearly as much as the rest of the box. Good call Nikolai, after seeing it under gaming lights over the weekend I've flip flopped a lot about additions to the painting.
