Ursine Presents

Well, progress was made on durgen last night, he's not particularly inspiring as a model to paint, very busy and the overall model doesn't seem to want to take my colourscheme and work... we'll have to do something about that. Not to mention the Hammer is the same size as his torso.

However the best bit was coming home last night and finding a box from the good people at maelstrom. Shipped on the first and they arrived on the sixth, thats damn good time from the other side of the world. Cracking open the box, to my delight I find Gudrun and the Bear, I quickly assembled the bear, see if I can crank him out in time for the weekend:

You'll see here how I pin models to their bases and then build the base up under them, It makes it a lot easier IMO. They're a little fragile while theyre only held up by pins but not fragile enough that its a biggie. Once the base is in place they're rock solid.

Definitely looking forward to painting the Bear, if Durgen isn't finished I might just have to put him aside for Beartastic fun times.

Until next time,

Play Like You Have a Pair.

Durgen is looking sharpe and I like how you posed his hammer sitting down. He should look nice with the rest of your army.

Do you have any plans for getting a Wroughthammer Rockram?

Thanks,

I actually do own a Rockram, its fully assembled and all... He's just at the bottom of the painting que so far as MkI is back in fasion for an event coming up so that needs to be painted first.
